Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is a ministry of listening, prayer, and discernment
that helps deepen one's awareness of God’s presence and movement in everyday life.

It is a shared journey between you, the Trinity, and a companion
who walks alongside you with prayerful attentiveness.
Offered in a space of trust, compassion, and presence,
you are invited to slow down, reflect honestly, and bring your whole self before God,
just as you are.

Through reflective listening and unhurried conversation,
we gently attend to the questions, desires, and experiences unfolding within your life.

At its heart is the trust that God is lovingly present and active in every part of our lives.
Even within what feels hidden, uncertain, or unfinished,
nothing is outside of His love
and nothing is beyond His care.

My prayer is to hold a space where your whole self is received with
tenderness, reverence, and prayerful care.
It is a privilege to behold the Imago Dei within you
and witness the sacred, ever-present communion between you and God.

Lael

Lael, meaning “belonging to God,” expresses the heart of how I offer spiritual direction.

The name first came to me as a quiet whisper within my own journey of faith.
Over time, I began to recognize it as a reflection of the way God has been gently forming my life.

Spiritual formation is the ongoing, Holy Spirit-led work of being shaped into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
Within Lael, spiritual direction becomes one expression of this sacred work.

Here, identity is received as gift,
where belonging comes before becoming,
and life flows from presence rather than striving.

Over time, this way of being deepens into a gentle rhythm of abiding communion.
In God’s ever-present nearness,
attentiveness becomes prayer,
and everyday life becomes a living sanctuary.
